AppLink and 2014 FFE

Has anyone gotten *any* AppLink enabled app to work with their FFE?
There are several AppLink enabled apps for the iPhone, but I haven't gotten any to connect to my 2014 FFE.

Applink does not work with MyFordTouch, and it appears that Ford has given up getting applink to work with MFT.

Yes there is a menu item on the screen for it, but it goes nowhere/does nothing.

I've seen that discussed elsewhere and it confused me why MyFordTouch is referenced instead of SYNC.

Now I understand. The version of SYNC on the FFE is called MyFordTouch.
Therefore AppLink does not work with the 2014 FFE.

Yes on the FFE (and many other Ford's) Sync = MFT
