Hey everyone, I just recently switched to Time of Use billing on my electricity and have a question in regards to the Go Times. The more expensive window is from 8 am to 8 pm. My wife leaves for work between 8 and 8:30. I currently have the Go Times set to have the cabin preconditioned to 72 degrees for 7:45. Does anyone know how long after the Go Time the car will continue to heat or cool? I don't want to be paying the more expensive rate to precondition the cabin.

In my experience it has continued to heat the cabin for a good 15 minutes or so. I frequently set my go times 10 minutes ahead of my actual go time to have that added bit of heat in the cabin (this worked well when my car was parked outside and the temps were well into the -10F or lower range).

More info, although not much more LOL:
