This is just great. Perfect timing; right?

    Stop Safely Now Warning

I can understand that for sure, I would probably be just the same if it happened on my end. I don't have an FFE but my car is electric. I wonder if this really is a string of bad events or if it ideally is software. The causes all seem to be random.

After 42 days?! Why don't you just lemon it out??

    Car Charging Etiquette! :D

I have pretty much always had a problem with how Tesla handles their practices. They seem to want absolutely everything to be exclusive to them, which doesn't really work out well for certain types of products, and I believe this is the case. If they sold an economy version of one of their cars...

    Car Charging Etiquette! :D

This kind of stuff gets a lot more confusing when you bring up who has to go where, and who is planning on sitting with their car, and for how long. 100% of the time when I leave, I make sure I can get to my destination, so a charging station is more of a convenience "on my way." HOWEVER, there...

Has anyone gone through with a Lemon Buyback? If so, could they please describe their experience. I am interested in how that kind of thing plays out.

    2012 Drivers battery experience

I'll ask around. I have a friend that works for Ford headquarters. I'm sure he can find out for me.

Oooh... really? That makes more sense. I always thought the battery simply charged to "maximum" at 80%, IE: the computer tells the car that it is fully charged at 80% capacity. Therefore keeping it between 20% and 80% at all times. Thanks for the info.

But doesn't the system not charge the battery past 80% anyway?

    2012 Drivers battery experience

That was an awesome contribution. Thank you very much! I figured that's what kind of testing they did, I just wanted a real world experience from some people. But, as stated, that's probably not really possible yet. you have a link to the article?

I'm hoping it's the latter. At least, that's the best case scenario. (IE, very good TMS.)

    12 volt battery dead

Holy crap, that's super smart. I bet that's definitely his problem. Why wouldn't the service department check that?

Really? Nobody? Hmmm... how about just general loss in capacity over your ownership of the car?

    Stop Safely Now Warning

This is getting a little ridiculous. I'm having problems with my decision to purchase at this point. A car this experiment shouldn't spontaneously stop working this frequently. Blah to Ford...

When it's the most recent report of this on these forums?

    2012 Drivers battery experience

I am very interested in getting a ford focus electric, but I have a question I wanted to ask anyone who has had the car since it was released. Have you experienced any loss in battery capacity? I'm not to worried, but I am interested in seeing what actual drivers have to say instead of...
