I had my SSN occur last year at 5300 miles. Long time in the shop. Bummer but I loved the car and still do. My problem was the wiring harness, and once replaced, I am up to over 12,000 miles with no problems.

My 2013 FFE will unlock by touching the backdoor handle if the front has momentarily locked me out. Anyone else able to do this?

Reading complaints of how much energy is used going up hills immediately makes me suspect driving style is the culprit. Whatever your means of propulsion, hills use up a lot more energy. Try a slight deceleration going up hills and you will change your watt hrs per mile usage enormously.

I'm not feeling your enthusiasm for electric vehicles. I'm delighted with my FFE, even though I live in the northeast.

We went more than a year with only 115volt and it worked fine. There are a lot of charging hours between getting home in the evening and leaving for work. I finally got the higher voltage charger after sometimes using up range on longer trips during the day. I still don't use it much in the summer.
