New pics... I now have all the cooling plates out, and am in process of wiping down all the stuff. So much coolant...I'm surprised it ran at all. I would estimate a good half inch deep at the bottom of the lower pack, so battery packs just swimming. Will start re-assembly soon.

More disassembly and some better news. Following the guide linked earlier, I'm actually removing all the cooling plates and with that, the packd come back together fine. More pictures later. Lots if leaked coolant in the bottom.

Here are the pictures from last night. From seeing where the coolant sits, seems like the swelling is a likely culprit here. My concern is if its safe to reassemble when there are clearly some bad cells here. Is that a fire hazard? Im far from a battery expert. I do have to say Im a bit...

Got a little further in teardown. No definitive leak points, but there is very definite swelling in some of the packs. That would seem like a logical cause. There was a lot of pressure built up. Will post some pictures in the morning.

Having just pulled the cover off my battery pack, this is a lot of work. Getting it out and just opening the cover is hard, its VERY well sealed, lots of bolts and RTV sealing everything in. Getting any airflow without disassembly will be hard if not impossible. Plus you could have pockets of...

I havent pulled the pack apart yet, have only taken off the front cover, but its clearly leaking. Exactly where I dont know yet. First image shows the most obvious coolant. Curious how much I will find in the bottom.

Pulled pack opened case... Guess what? Coolant! Ford is at a new low in my mind. I would never purchase a Mach E or a lightning at this point. They don't know what they are doing and don't care if a vehicle lasts past 8 years.

Also FYI in other findings, when disconnecting all the items for the upper pack, I found a interesting item. There is a connector for the 12V system into the pack. The nuts on the connection block were very loose (maybe hand tight) and on the positive lead there was clear evidence of arching...
