Anybody offering a solution for this? The car seems to have the power to go past the 85 mark, 100 would be a lot more usable. People routinely drive 80-85 on the highway, and it is a safety issue not being able to pass anyone. Any ECU tuners out there have a solution?

I also read new Leaf uses heat pump. I have a mini split heatpump heating an addition on my house, its an inverter model, so it adjusts draw depending on requirements. I heat a 400 SF room and it consumes between 1,400 and 6,000 watts on high. So they seem to be much more efficient.

After investing so much in making a whiz bang car, the FFE falls flat on its face when simply heating up the passenger compartment. Seriously, how much does this thing draw, 5,000 watts? For it to drop range so much, it must draw 5,000 to 10,000 watts. My range here in the winter drops from...

HI, what are peoples impressions? I run winter tires on all my other cars, as Im used to max performance summer tires, and then winter tires dedicted. Never driven on an all season before, so Im not sure it will cut it for me here in Massachusetts, on my very steep driveway in the winter...

Is anyone tuning these cars? This is my first EV car, and I've tuned every ice car I've had. Maybe there are torque limiters or other software changes that can make the car peppy? Just curious.....I assume there isn't enough of a market for a tuner to hack the ecu software to make it...

Im interested in sway bar, springs, and tire upgrade as well...just because its an ev doesn't mean it can't be sporty and fun...

Aha, thats probably the issue, nobody wants this car in the northeast, they have about $13,500 in cash to the dealer here... Also you can get conquest money (just show them paperwork of another lease in the household) You can get $150/month with $1,300 due at signing (all fees, etc.) 24 months...

Trade in value on a low mile 2013 is about 17,000$ (actual price paid at a mercedes dealer here in Boston), I know, it sucks....nobody wants these cars unfortunately.
