What's Under that Big Foam Cover?

In the center of the picture the shiny box looks like the 12 volt converter. This converts the high voltage to 12 volts to supply the battery. The orange wires supply it with the DC high voltage.

In the center of the picture is a box that gets the high voltage from the heavy orange wires. These wires should come from the high voltage battery in the rear of the car. It looks like it distributes the high voltage to different systems in the car (the three pairs of orange wires leaving the box). Such as heat and airconditioning. Below this should be the AC motor drive unit that converts the DC power to AC power. This is used to power the main traction motor that propels the car.

If you look at the bottom of this picture you can see coolant lines. Some of these cool the electronics and main traction motor.

These are some of my guesses as to what these parts are.
Note: All orange wires are high voltage, so please don't mess with them!!!

If you look in front of the 12 volt battery you will see a group of orange wires. This comes from the charging port in front of the drivers door.
