Should ask the attendant if he has seen any ever use the Hydrogen pump?
The next question should be, how often?

There are about 9 Hydrogen fueling stations in California. These stations are limited to amount of hydrogen they can supply in a single day. I would not buy a fuel cell vehicle for the following reasons. The infrastructure is not there. L.A. is the only place that has limited number of stations. If they are producing hydrogen gas from electrolyses it is very inefficient. Only about 25% of the electrical energy ends up propelling the car. While the battery electrics is above 80% of the energy propels the car. Most of the electricity comes from fossil fuel any way. Just that a BEV is one of the most effective way of using it for transportation. Fuel cell vehicles are basically an electric vehicle that gets its electricity from a fuel cell.
