Replacing the 12v battery?

Can I just change the 12v battery as I would any other car battery, I know it keeps some sub systems alive. I am going to replace the battery with a lighter lithium pack.

After about 15 minute the car drops to about 70-80ma continuously draw from the 12v battery.

No one knows? I do plan on getting the service manuals but won't be in time for this weekend.

Just a guess: should be fine.
You look at mounting, space, and total capacity of course.
(CCA = Cold Cranking Amps? Ha!)

I would like to read how it goes for you, and how much weight difference.
