I think it is a pretty significant accomplishment by Ford to create the Focus Electric and be awarded the 2012 Compact Car most fuel efficient award issued by the US Department of Energy:

The Ford Focus Electric is an amazing car and I can see it winning many awards for years to come. Keep up the good work Ford! Now we just need Bentley to come out with there version of the electric car. Now that would be a statement

I love seeing an American car (ford focus electric) get the recognition it deserves. I would like to know the export #'s for the focus ev globally. The ford focus electric should be very supportive of a healthy economy.
