Car won't stop texting me that it's "severely" cold?

Not intending to hijack this thread, but can someone explain what is "the turtle"?

When the car's performance is severely impacted (such as when the battery is very cold or hot), a warning will appear on the dash. The warning has an icon which is an image of a turtle (because turtles are slow).

EDIT: So... I have now sent MFM support an email describing the problem and asking them if they can make the notifications stop. I also pointed them to this thread.

Ford wrote back today. All they want me to do is delete and re-add my car to "see if that fixes things" (and I imagine it probably would, functioning as a sort of "reset").

They apparently have zero desire to actually figure out what the problem is.
