There are now four NHTSA complaints on the Stop Safely Now warning. I personally feel this one is the worst because it actually occurred while in motion:

What do you all think?

I think that is the same SSN message reported in our forums here by Lake EV:

Lake EV said:
Today, with approx 1140 miles my wife had it with complete power loss to the wheels. Coasted to a stop on the side of a busy highway and was immediately approached by highway patrol who lectured that this was a bad place to stop. No kidding.

(The similar part of the story seems to be the police officer's presence and reaction.)

Here is the thread/page of that: http://www.myfocuselectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=900&start=70#p4702

My spreadsheet tracking these is up to 28 occurrences now--given that some entries are the first post from that user (one of them even said that they googled the problem and the first link that popped up was this forum) I'm thinking that we're starting to be the collection point for SSN problems. I still think this problem is showing up in 2-3% of FFE's (and hope I never see it, especially since my commute includes two railroad crossings).
