This rate data is shared with the Value Charging profile that you can setup at the Myford Mobile website - The Car's management software will look at those predicted rates (future) and have the car start charging automatically when the rates are supposed to be the cheapest.

Regarding the $4K Illinois rebate - Processing of the claims was to begin starting Feb 1 2013 (today) and so I think it could be a few more months even before we see that money. They have been accumulating the claims for the past 6 months and will start working through them in the order received.

I held off on the Level 2 charger as well, and regret missing the rebate on that - but realistically I am able to do all of the driving I need to (1000 mi per month) just using the 110 charger.
