Ford teases Focus electric ahead of CES

Ford has previously announced that when the Focus Electric hits the market, it will initially only be available in Washington, DC and just 14 states.

It's been nearly a full year since Ford made it clear that the automaker is planning to roll out an all-electric version of its Focus, and now we have our first glimpse at what to expect from the car. The Blue Oval has dusted off its first teaser of the New Year with a shot of the charging port on the EV Focus.

says March 2011.. but that's not straight from Ford so it's hard to say.

I think soon, like after the Focus Electric is released at CES in the next week we should have more data on the release date - hopefully!

Thank you for the link. I understood the article to say the new Ford Focus ICE car will be March 2011, and the Focus Electric will be 2012.
