Anybody know if the cells are interchangeable between the small and large battery packs? Thanks

The modules should be the same between packs. Only real difference is the count.
I had a response on Facebook that they are different with a higher density module being used so the size factor between the packs stayed the same. Prepping for future pack repairs by figuring out what and where to find modules for the batteries to change out failing cells….Thanks

Have to go with Anti_Climax and what I have seen in photos and videos. Different "density" (chemistry, arrangement?) would mean the BMS would have to be programmed to behave differently for different cells. Don't know if any BMS can do that.

Apologies, I thought you meant the smaller upper pack and the larger lower pack

The later model higher capacity pack is mostly the same mechanically, though they did iterate things like the cooling plates and such. Electrically, yes, it's the same type of cell but about 50% higher energy density. Not unexpected in the ~10 years from when they started their initial engineering to the update in 2017.

So they would be interchangeable between upper and lower, but not higher and lower capacity packs.

the cells in small and large battery packs are typically not interchangeable due to differences in configuration, capacity, and management systems.
