Hi everyone,
Last week while driving home, battery at 20%... "please charge the battery" alert came on.
I made it home and charged it.
Everything is working normally. Apart of a few days of regeneration battery issues (see other post).
Recently I checked my ford app, under messages, it...
Thank you everyone for contributing.
Update: I booked an appointment with Ford but a one day the appointment, the regen came back. it's working normally again.
I don't know why. Maybe the TCM reset itself?
Hope it stays that way.
Just want to say thanks to the community here.
Still...
Thanks.
Assuming it's something with the TCM... is that covered under FFE hybrid/electric 8 years 160km warranty???
It must be either transmission or the hybrid/electric charging system that's off.
Is there a way, to reboot the system? (like how you turn off and on electronics?)
Right now...
I've been driving my '17 FFE, everything is fine till yesterday when regen stop working.
- Foot off the pedal... no regen at any speed.
- Fully charged... same issue the next day.
- L drive... no regen at any speed.
Any one has any experience with this? or advice?
Thanks.
Nope mine was just from the rear.
I did have a squeaky sound from the steering. I just applied some grease and it's mostly gone.
Hope you find your cause and fix soon.
It's fixed guys. Thank you.
Parts 140. Took 1.5 hours of labor. Done.
A reminder that we need to exercise common sense and 2nd quotes. Not all dealerships are bad.... some are very bad. I'm from BC Canada.
Need some advice here. I've my 2017 FEE for 2 months now. This happened x3. While reversing out of the garage, no power steering. Had to restart the car before power steering is restored.
Is this a sign of something breaking ie: power steering pump?
Or
1) When startup, give it a few more...
Hi guys, hope you have some input for me.
FFE 2017 has a clunking sound going over bumps. I took it to the dealer. They identify it's a worn lateral link (rear).
Part is cheap like $100.
But upon installation, they told me in order to replace the link, they will need to remove the battery...
