I'm going away for a month and leaving my 2014 FFE in long term parking and I heard that the car might not start because the 12v battery could be drained from the car not being active.

So then I thought why I don't I just remote start it a few times while I'm gone to help it out.

Has anybody tried this?

The remote system will shut down (you won't be able to start it) if the car isn't communicated with for a few days (3 I think???). When I'm gone on a long trip, I just refresh the status on the main page of the app and that does the trick.

I don't remote start it. Never had any issues with the battery being drained.
