EV Battery Design/Configuration Options

Here's an interesting article about the different packaging & design options in EV HVBs.

Does anyone know which configuration is what Ford uses in the FFE?
2013 Ford Focus Electric - Ice Storm - leased through 8/15/16
Replaced by a 2016 Tesla Model S 60D

The FFE uses prismatic cells like the Volt.

Pretty sure they are of the pouch variety not prismatic.
