Re: Share details of the LTE migration?

I have nothing to support this other than my fuzzy memory of what I have seen others post online. I believe we all use MFM. For some reason it appears MFM is not compatible with the LTE modems so everyone on LTE must use the MFPass app. I've seen people on the FB group who said the MFP app doesn't s...

Re: My 23 KW battery is being replaced

Yep disposable car after the 8 year warranty :(

If mine is going to fail it better fail within the next 10 months before the warranty expires on my '14.

Re: Adding Extra Battery Power to FFE

You'd probably need the boards or you'd have to be able to recreate the data stream the BMS expects to see. And that is my big stumbling block. Someday if ever feasible, I will upgrade my battery. The battery part and BMS part is no problem. However I'm a complete noob when it comes to canbus or kn...

Re: EVSE With Adjustable Amps

120V @ 6A would be painfully slow. I can also confirm it won't do more than 12A @ 120V It's a shame as I had a 30A 120V generator. If you still need me to verify I can see if it would charge that low. I tried it years ago and I don't remember what the minimum was. I want to say it was 5A but I hones...

Re: AT&T sunset and MyFordMobile app

I upgraded my '14 to Sync3. Surprisingly how easy it was. I also now have the mustang startup screen instead of the ford logo  I'm finally getting around to replacing the media hub with a plain Jane USB port. I wish there was a way to disable the nag screen as I don't have a crapple phone so ge...

Re: Is there a cold weather charge reduction?

There's a reason it is called the guess-o-meter. It has nothing to do with your battery capacity and everything to do with your driving habits, climate control usage, etc. Also as we get in to winter you will lose a kWh or two battery capacity simply because the battery is cold. This capacity comes ...

Re: Cabin Heater has stopped heating

You can't do much with forscan and just a phone. you really need a laptop for forscan unless you just want to use it as gauges. Unfortunately the only way to know if your battery is leaking is to take it apart or if it's leaking bad enough to be dripping it will be obvious. Hate to be the bearer of ...
