I ran a LFP 12V battery in my FFE for about 2 years prior to selling it. It had a 50A max current draw BMS and a 10V LV cutoff. It worked great. I wonder how long that battery would have lasted had I kept my FFE. It had no problems with winter usage either.

I may be wrong but I don't think they did much when going from the 23 kWh to 33.5 kWh pack other than switching to higher density cells. I have read about at least one 2017+ that has the dreaded battery coolant leak so I'm not so sure they really fixed anything..

Only thing you really need is to transfer the mounting brackets from the old screen to the new screen.

I no longer have my FFE but I kept the Sync3 system if anyone is interested in buying it. It's currently configured with the Mustang start up screen and Lincoln "Limitless" theme. so the shutdown screen is Lincoln. If you are local I'd be happy to re-program it if you want it different or ...

I would bet a large sum of cash that will never happen. Pretty sure this only applies to Mach E and F150 Lightning. Seeing as how the supercharger will communicate to the car for billing which I'm fairly certain the FFE cannot do.
