Re: highway range

If you can drive 60mph, you get more range than at 65mph than at 70mph. I cannot give an exact range because I do not know how you drive and what your road conditions are. I drive conservatively, but I have a combination of freeway that is up and down hill, and city streets. I average about 4 miles ...

Re: key fob

Yeah, that got me puzzled, so I checked with mine. Lowered the window, and tossed the key on the seat. Closed door and attempted to lock from the sensor pad. Nothing. Opened door, pushed the lock button while open, and it set. When I closed the door, it honked twice and unlocked the door. So why mig...

Re: 2018 FFE Wrench codes and battery capacity loss

I finally got the dealer to take a look at my car. The prognosis was not good. Surprise, surprise, it needs the HV battery replaced. I didn't hear about it from the dealer, actually. I got a call and an email from Ford corporate customer service. They gave me two options. 1) They will replace the b...

Re: Motor Mounts for 2017 FFE

In watching the video, it seems that the drive unit is still shaking a little. Were all mounts replaced? And might that which the mount attaches to be problematic?

Re: Motor Mounts for 2017 FFE

Might the axles be slightly loose in the hubs or the differential? If the splines have loosened up, that would make a clunk on accelerating or decelerating.

Re: Charging price

Ever since I started driving electric, I made a point to find the free charging stations in my area. Sometimes, you gotta be sneaky. That is, not tell anyone its free, or it will get too much use and no longer be free. Right now, there is one about 2 miles away, that in the plug share app shows cont...

That's a big hill.

I would love to get 150Wh per mile. I might, if I could just lighten the car. I know, I'll take that heavy battery out.

Re: 2018 FFE Wrench codes and battery capacity loss

Better yet, pay for the oil change, and demand that they do it. If they claim to have done it, then call in the local TV consumer advocate video crew, and have the dealership explain how they didn't commit fraud. I bought my 2017 used from a Honda dealership. They still email me stuff that I need to...
