Re: Charge Time Estimate Garbage Since Upgrading Modem

I don't know if my vehicle is affected, because I do not remember there being that functionality in the first place. I just checked now and I can configure a few things there. I see Auto Light Rain. A headlight delay. The climate control settings when I do a remote start. Ok, I am in the car: Settin...

I know that is a breadboard, but it looks like a spagetti board. ;)
Fingers crossed!

Re: AT&T sunset and MyFordMobile app

Dunno about that. As I often see a message on the center screen telling me that Synch is downloading an update and certain services might not be available. Of course, no update is downloaded, but I swear a few years back it did do an over the air software update.

Re: Something to Check on Your Car

Really, they gave you a two year warranty on a car that has a 4 year factory warranty. And at least 3 of those years left. Was it a salvage brand? Most if not all 3rd party used car dealerships don't know fuck about electric vehicles, have no access to parts, and definitely will not spring for the s...

Re: Jump in max range, Regen Pause

I do not know the exact percentage, but until the battery SOC gets below 95-90%, regenerative braking is turned off. This is to prevent overcharging the battery. I believe most electric cars have it. When I owned a Fiat 500e, I lived up in the San Jose hills. If the SOC was about 50% at the top of t...

Re: FFE turn OFF while breaking

Wow, I have never seen those codes before: So I guess you know that P0c07 and P0c05 deal with the TCM. Yet you replaced that. Did you replace the entire drive unit or just the box on top of the inverter? I would check the continunity of the separate phases of the motor between the inverter, to make ...

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

If you have corrosion at that connector, then you should also refer to the TSB-20-2004 bulletin. https://dot.report/bulletins/10170911 There is no corrosion on my 2017 at the lower battery, but it is a california car where it never snows. Still, I bought the spash shield described in the bulletin an...

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

Yes, Dielectric Grease is a no-no for high voltage contacts. HVIL is low voltage, but is often in the same connector for high voltage. Gotta be tidy in there. I wrote this response to another member who had that P0A0A code. http://www.myfocuselectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=33687&hilit=p0a0a#p...

Re: Stop Safely Now Warning

Considering your post was 5 hours ago, it might be too late to tell you that the drain plugs are located on the bottom surface of the battery on opposite corners. If you haven't downloaded the service manual, I would suggest you do so before you get too deep into it. https://www.myfocuselectric.com/...

FordPass Update, Might Want to Skip

I noticed that FordPass had an update available on the Apps Store. I was hoping that the update would take care of the missing Energy Consumed type information. Nope, still not there, however now My Journeys is gone, and been replaced by a very simple and boring My EV Driving. So if you like the map...
