Re: SSN Fix: DIY Upper HV Pack Heat Exchanger (Cooling Plate) Removal

You could potentially set up a temp sensor in the coolant stream and make it think it's in the upper pack.

And for sealing cells after degassing - perhaps something that isn't an adhesive in the traditional sense like epoxy?

Re: Connectivity Options for 2012-2015 FFEs?

They may not want to sell it, but it is possible. I managed it for my 2012 but I can't personally confirm if it would work the same with the older sync.

I can say that the programming was needed at the dealer, even if I had to manually change one of the flags to make it work correctly.

Re: Motor Mounts for 2017 FFE

I've been getting what sounds like slop in suspension - but then it needed the whole front end rebuilt after the accident and they used "certified used parts" I had to force them to replace the rack. While it wasn't "broken" it was worn out and had enough play that I could drift ...

Re: Charging price

A tip on those broken handles - if it seems like it isn't charging, make sure to lift the button end up so the switch isn't triggered. And push it down before removing even if you don't need to open a latch. That switch trigger tells the car to reduce draw and if you pull it out without that warning...

Re: Charging price

So, having been involved in the setup of many Chargepoint units, I can tell you that any fees for charging are dictated by the owner of the hardware. When they configure it, they decide if it's going to be listed on the map and if they want to bill. They can decide if it will be by charging time, co...

Re: Charging price

Sounds pretty spammy. Chargepoint doesn't set the price of charging on their network. With very few exceptions, the charger hardware is owned by other entities (property owner, company on site, etc) and that entity decides what charging will cost. The majority of public facing stations in their netw...

Re: Newbie here ... ! Basic Questions

On Sync 3 there is a "charge settings" applet near the end of the applet screens. It contains go time data as well as SoC and estimated charge time for L1 and L2. I don't know if anything on the car itself that will tell you the current draw while charging, but I can say that in AC it ramp...

Re: My Ford mobile app no longer updates

A tip for spammers: Before you post thinking that the title of the thread is self-explanatory, read through the previous posts to have an understanding of the context of the thread. That way, you won't look like a total moron to those of use who do know the context, and know that the Ford Mobile Ap...
