Re: Charging Start and Charging Complete Times Stuck

I have charging time estimates still showing from just before the sunset of myfordmobile. Sounds like the same thing.

Re: highway range

Apologies for the delay. I posted a formula for the energy versus speed on the focus a while back that you could use to calculate. https://www.myfocuselectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=28880#p28880 I found that the background draw is about 1100watts before you factor in AC or cooling and the newtons...

Re: SSN Fix: DIY Upper HV Pack Heat Exchanger (Cooling Plate) Removal

You could potentially set up a temp sensor in the coolant stream and make it think it's in the upper pack.

Re: Connectivity Options for 2012-2015 FFEs?

They may not want to sell it, but it is possible. I managed it for my 2012 but I can't personally confirm if it would work the same with the older sync.

I can say that the programming was needed at the dealer, even if I had to manually change one of the flags to make it work correctly.

Re: Motor Mounts for 2017 FFE

I've been getting what sounds like slop in suspension - but then it needed the whole front end rebuilt after the accident and they used "certified used parts" I had to force them to replace the rack. While it wasn't "broken" it was worn out and had enough play that I could drift ...

Re: Charging price

A tip on those broken handles - if it seems like it isn't charging, make sure to lift the button end up so the switch isn't triggered. And push it down before removing even if you don't need to open a latch. That switch trigger tells the car to reduce draw and if you pull it out without that warning...

Re: Charging price

So, having been involved in the setup of many Chargepoint units, I can tell you that any fees for charging are dictated by the owner of the hardware. When they configure it, they decide if it's going to be listed on the map and if they want to bill. They can decide if it will be by charging time, co...
