And would you even know you had an overheating situation with no coolant running through the pack? I'm assuming that a coolant sensor is how the temperature is measured.
I think my 2013 FFE has the wrong software in it. Pictures of other cars and the owner's manual show a leaf option along with these three which accesses a bunch of screens I don't have. Am I the only FFE like this?
It is attached to the brake pedal . It is the same one an ICE Focus uses. It is the highlighted piece in this diagram. It doesn't look easy to get to poking around under the dash. Press on the brake pedal and see if the brake lights in the tail light up. If not, the switch that tells the car that the pedal is depressed is not working. You should hope it is that easy fix. Okay, new problem. Once the car turns on and the power is on, the main battery is charging the 12V and the meter reads over 14. The goal was to see what the voltage was before the car starts. Looks like I may have to tap into the cigar lighter/powerpoint fuse and have the thing glow for ten minutes ...
That voltmeter in the lighter is what I have now. I just wanted something that would shut off when the car shut off. I don't get why the cigarette lighter would be engineered to stay on for fifteen minutes.
