New tires

I got 4 new stock Michelin tires installed today. Wow. What a difference in range. I get way more. The watts/hr is significantly less too!!!

Re: New to me 2017 FFE getting ~70 miles per charge

Check out EVTV. Many years ago I stumbled on them when trying to create a spare battery for my FFE. They have some solutions for full Tesla battery packs.

Re: Numerous Issues - HELP!

You can install a disconnect between the positive or negative battery terminal. Similar to what is found on boat batteries. Re: New to me 2017 FFE getting ~70 miles per charge

Not you just need to add CHAdeMO to it ;) Show me the ways, and I think I am super interested in this. I recently cracked the code on how to use Tesla Model S battery modules for power backup. I currently have 2x modules (50lbs/each) that have a capacity of ~10kw. This would be a nice addition to h...

Re: AC not reliable in warm weather

I agree, my AC works more than wel enough to keep the car EXTREMELY cold, but every once in a while…cold air is diverted to cooling the battery. Actually, I haven’t had the warm air blowing issues since I posted last. That fat must have been the perfect trifecta of environmental conditions for the F...

Re: A/c cuts put

My 2017 with ~ 30,000 miles does the same thing. The AC will blow hot air. Good info anti_climax. Thank you. Does anyone have schematics of the AC system? Also, not sure if related or not. Every so often, when I 'start' the vehicle after charging I get a red error message, "Check charging system". I...
