I have 2017 so 110 mi range. I've taken multiple 300 - 500 km trips (one-way.. so double return). That is with fast chargers. It's long, but would be more bearable with better seats :( That is what I believe too! As far as I can tell from research, MY 2015+ Focus all share the same seat...

I got a call back from my dealer. They need to replace the motor. There was some 40 (?!) codes logged (not just the 2 the display showed), and they were able to narrow it down to a couple, and with further assistance from Ford, showed the problem to be in the motor... So we'll see if a new motor...

You need to use MyFordMobile not FordPass. The FFE in Canada has a modem and sends telematics and controls work in MFM.

Very nice. Here in Canada the 2018 FFE went up in price by 3k (from $31998 -> $34998). Which makes my decision to buy 2017 a great one (and picking up on Monday!)

Update to my order: * Sept 18: Built! Car was supposed to be built on 7th, but oh well * Sept 20: Went from In Production to In Transit. ETA Sept 30 - Oct 5. The quick change from in production to in transit is the first thing that's happened nicely so far. Hoping for delivery in that window...

Couldn't agree more.. I live in Ottawa too, and am from the east coast. I wouldn't go winters in either place without winter tires, and I've driven other cars (rental or not) that have all seasons. It's an absolutely huge difference, and when it comes down to it, it's not really _that_ expensive...

There are 0 in all of Ontario, is why ;-) There are limited quantities in random parts of Québec, but that means I'd have to get it here and also apply for the ON $14k rebate myself.
