I also wanted to get DRLs for my FFE and checked with the dealer. There is no way to "program" them to come on according to the tech; it's a wiring thing. So I'm probably going to go to an electronics shop and have them re-wire the eyebrow LEDs to come on whenever the ignition is on.

Glad to hear. As a follow up, I bought reconditioned 17 inch wheels from a '12 Focus Titanium and use those for my summer tires now.

Just ran the test last weekend, got 16.4 kWh at 23,800 miles. Build date 01/13. Unscientific test method; drove around as normal until depleted to 50%, then ran the rest down with heater. Ambient temp at end of test was 54°F/12°C.

Yep, our new Mazda doesn't have sensors. If a tire shop is charging a fee for holding the reset button, I'd definitely complain.

Did you try to run it and it told you it couldn't complete? Or is this something that went away with Sync 3?

Many newer cars have switched to wheel speed instead of in-wheel sensors for TPMS, but the FFE is not one of them.

I don't really need TPMS either since I regularly check the pressure, but most shops aren't willing to mount tires without them. Probably a liability thing.

Not sure I'd trust those eBay sensors are genuine. Cheapest on RockAuto is $30/unit. Other cost on non OEM wheels are lug nuts which add up at $3/pop. I go to Discount Tire and they charge $45 for a changeover. I'm not sure I'll keep this car more than 5 years so it just didn't make sense for...

Follow up: I decided against a second set of wheels at this time due to the exorbitant price of TPMS sensors on top of the cost of wheels. So I ended up getting a really good deal on a set of Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme S tires in the standard FFE size.

Gas powered models have different wheels/tires; 215/50 R17 instead of 225/50 R17. I don't think its a rotor size issue, its probably another part. While I'm sure you can run 15s on a conventional Focus Titanium, I can't find any source that says it works on a FFE. But I won't tell anyone how...

15 inch wheels aren't an option on Tire Rack and they do measurements for each vehicle. The FFE has different suspension and steering parts v. the gasoline model due to the added weight of the battery. This is verified by the FFE having a wider turning circle compare with base models.

From what I can tell, 15" wheels do not fit on the FFE. I would have liked to go smaller because both tires and wheels are cheaper.

Thanks, yeah I found 16 inch Dorman steel wheels on Rock Auto for cheap so I may go for those. They are supposed to accept the OEM wheel covers from the Focus SE.
