Anyone have a recent experience with this FSA? Dealer just told me that my FFE failed the test and they are "sending out the battery pack for repair or possible replacement." Says it should only be a "couple days" :roll: Ugh...wondering if the process has improved at all since the FSA was...

I actually have the hard-wired version of the Siemens VersiCharge unit you pointed to at Costco and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Been rock solid for the last two years (...including the winter of 2014-15 when we had over 10 feet of snow here in the Boston area).

I actually went with the Siemens Versicharge because I was mounting it outdoors in a very visible location and I thought it was one of the best looking weatherproof units out there. It has been rock solid and I've been extremely happy with it... Highly recommended!

Just brought our White Platinum FFE home last week and now I'm in the market for a hardwired, outdoor EVSE. Wondering if anyone has any feedback on ones that will stand up well to the combination of the salt air here in coastal MA as well as our snowy winters... Thanks! Dave
