    Yea, I find that most people I talk to have no idea how it works and generally dismiss it as being something not for them for fear of the unknown and unfamiliar. I think if more people really analyze the way they drive and just be willing to make some basic changes, it really can pay dividends...

    At the current Ford incentive rates, it's really a car for anyone. When I look at the choices at around $25k at the same equipment option level, it's no comparison. The $1500/year savings versus ICE cars is just pure bonus. For my personal usage model, the range is not a problem 99% of the time...

    1000 mile efficiency challenge

    I've had my FFE over a month now and have just clocked in over 1000 miles! I love it so far and look forward to continued gas free miles! My efficiency during that period is 211 Wh/mi. It's been a pretty mild summer with moderate use of AC, but my area is very hilly.

    Yes this is how our Infiniti works as well. Even without the key, the car will keep driving even if the connection to the key is lost. That is probably a good reason why this is done. When the car is being valeted, I've forgotten to take the key out of my pocket and the car can still be parked...
