2018 FFEs sold out in California

I bought a Bolt a year ago and although my 2FFE were great the Bolt is much better...never had to worry about range. The only complaint I have about the Bolt is no map except via CarPlay. I also have a TeslaX and Model3 reservation but that's another price range. Not sure why OP thinks Tesla...

    Chevy Bolt Drive

I am 6' 3" and 240 lbs and bolt is fine and very comfortable. Also more leg room in the back. Cargo also larger. I do not miss having switched from Focus to Bolt (and Tesla X).

    Huge battery capacity loss

I had still 20kwh at 20k miles and one year but I sold it right then. There are people at 52k miles with around 16kwh on this forum. 10Kwh seems so low that you will get a replacement battery. Did you not see a gradual decrease each year? From reading other forums age of battery can have as...

    Parting thoughts on our FFE

Hey I had a 2014 FFE and then 2016 FFE with over 30k miles total...first was taken back by Ford and second was sold locally after zero issue over 20k miles. Anyhow I just got a Bolt Premier too and I noticed that you have one. I like the Bolt (65kwh battery) but I miss some of the Ford features

How long did your factory ordered FFE take to arrive?

It arrived yesterday! Red with Leather interior Unfortunately I will not buy it...too many cars already. It is actually down to cheaper than I paid for '16FFE in Jan 2016.

How long did your factory ordered FFE take to arrive?

OK it's a '17 and yes it was ordered for me back late last year and they kept telling me there was no allocation Shults Ford, Wexford PA (Pittsburgh area) is the dealer and we buy a LOT of fleet trucks from them. I don't have to take it however I think it is under 27k after rebates then I...

How long did your factory ordered FFE take to arrive?

This is crazy...my dealer now tells me he has an FFE on it's way....first one in over a year. Not sure its a '17 or '18 as its just coming off factory floor Can someone tell me from the VIN: 1FADP3R45HL346744 wether is could be an '18? Now I "ordered" around December last year and have since...

New 2017 Models below $20k BEFORE tax credit

Tesla does that kind of advertising!

    2017 FFE...no more allocation for 2017

No problem I managed to do 7000 miles on my TeslaX since the start of thread. I also managed to sell my '16FFE. I went for the cheapest model (5 seat 75kwh battery) and I don't remember Tesla pushing for higher end models of the X at the time.

Those of you with replaced Lemons

I had my '14 replaced and had started by using a lemon lawyer who was just doing nothing useful besides writing a letter to FORD and being "denied". As soon as you lawyer up Ford become very unfriendly to you. The way I did this is via the BBB that is suggested in the Ford owners manual...they...

    2017 FFE...no more allocation for 2017

Strange thing happened is that I got an allocation just now with ETA of mid October for build date Considering I inquired and dealer put in the order early in 2017 and kept getting the"no allocation" message I find it strange. would that be a 2018 model?

Warranties and Recalls on Used FFEs

I agree the prices you were quoted are way too high. nothing should be above 10k unless it's a used '17FFE

Just bought a Certified 2017 FFE

Darn I undersold my '16FFE with 20k miles at 10k then! ...was not getting any interest on this Forum for a few months but eventually it happened and we are both happy (local guy) Probably other regions of the country are easier ...not easy here as I have yet to see another FFE in 3 years of...

    How Is This Lease?

If Ford bought your '16 back then would you not be better buying a 2017 and get tax refunds? I had a 2014 that got bought back and then I got a free '16FFE with the money so I was at 15k or so at the end of the day with all the Fed and State refunds. Ended up selling the '16 for 10k so I...

    2018 FFE

no except I was told that 2017 is all allocated so it would be December delivery for a 2018 FFE.... I sold my '16FFE a month ago with the expectation of the '17 arriving about now just to be told there was not allocation to our region Fed up so to speak...glad I got the Tesla X with the...

FFE ...is it on the rebound? 407 sold in March!

Back to normal and low numbers last two months.... http://insideevs.com/record-ev-sales-in-may-for-us-lead-by-the-toyota-prius-prime-again/ oh well that was wishful thinking that the '17 FFE with its increased range would spark more production but again I tried to order one 4 months ago and...

    generator as range extender

And the i3 range extender probably generates more than 6 Kw! A 6 kw generator would only allow to move 25 miles in best case in one hour and would use about 1 gallon of gas.

    2017 FFE...no more allocation for 2017

actually thinking more about it: I takes 90 days from order to delivery it seems and they usually end production in August So it make sense that there would be no more allocation as they seem to have enough orders. So does not mean you can't find a dealer without one (I my case however there...

2017 FFE let's get some real data here.

talking about '17FFE WHY ARE SOME MANY OF THEM IN CANADA? seems like you guys are getting huge tax incentives? Maybe Ford gets some incentives too? (can't get one in Pittsburgh area!)

    2017 FFE...no more allocation for 2017

I just think they had a certain number of FFE they planned to build and they are all allocated...seems like a majority went to Canada! Certainly none in my region (I started inquiring back in December). I had just brought my '16FFE for 20k maintenance, inspection and recalls (differential and...
