Admin user try to access my vehicule

Or, if they can track the car, know when you're not at home and try to break in there. Sounds like a bad idea all around.

Admin user try to access my vehicule

Couple questions: first, what's the latest news on this (over a week later)? Second, how exactly are you being notified of these attempts? Is it just an email you're receiving, or notification in the app, or on-screen in the car, or some other way I can't imagine right now?

    Ford lease end options

I'm WAY under on mine - I didn't realize I might be able to reduce the payment if I call and talk to them. Thanks! (15k/yr planned, only using just over 12k/yr. Due to the Focus being so small and my wife got a new car sooner than expected, we drive her car for most family running around type...

    Quality of Key Fob

I doubt that wear and tear on the fob will be a problem at the end of the lease. But, personally I almost never touch mine. 2014, just passed 2 years old now, and pretty much looks new. I use the door handle probably 99.99% of the time, to either lock or unlock, and at worst I've only ever had...

So I'm pretty sure Ford has given up on us...

Heh. I haven't been back to the forum in a while, but when I saw that ad on my recording of Criminal Minds this evening, I had to come share the news - or what has turned out to be sharing the amazement! I was pretty stoked to see the ad. It's pretty cool.

    Thinking about the car, questions

Ditto to everyone here. My round trip is about 34, not counting driving to get lunch. Cold weather is a problem. But, ever since I installed my level 2 charger, I breathe easy. There wasn't much cold weather left here in Texas when I got it installed, but the commute became a lot easier...

    Plug door randomly opening?

I'm right there with ya. When I first got mine, I thought for sure it was popping open or a guy at work was pranking me. But, as time rolled on, it seems to magically stay closed now... ;)

    12 Volt electric blanket..

That's the one I got, too. I wish it had heat level controls, but otherwise it's doing really well for me.

    Go time - not working?

So, with the cold having set in, I set go times with a cabin temp of 85. Admittedly, I've actually not really got into the car at my set go time on any day until this morning, but a few times were shortly after (maybe 5 minutes or so). Go time was 6:45, I got in at 6:45. When I came into the...

Steering Issues with the 2014 Ford Focus Electric

I can confirm again - not normal. My steering is nice and tight, centering as usual and no play before engagement. I would definitely notice anything occurring even slightly as y'all are reporting.

Nice little blurb of an article: http://www.cnn.com/2014/11/12/tech/solar-road/index.html?sr=fb111314solarroad830aStoryGalTwoPhotos#

    Heater

I'm curious about the best way to heat the interior (me). I know from the very few times that I've run the heater that range takes a serious hit. My question is, would it make sense to run a small in-car heater off of the power point? My understanding is that the accessories, including the power...

Steering Issues with the 2014 Ford Focus Electric

Sorry to say, I don't think it's a universal problem. I certainly don't have it; my steering is great. If I'd experienced that when I went to pick it up, I would have left it. There's no way I'd drive off in a car with loose steering.

    FFE range

I certainly can't claim to be an expert here, but it sounds like wattsup is wrong, if I understand him correctly. They way I read that last post is that 76 miles is the maximum distance you could drive at all on a single full charge, which is just not true. I think most people can attest to...

    FFE range

David, I'm just south of Dallas, in Cedar Hill. My round trip is <40miles, and if I had a level 2 charger at home, I would feel very comfortable with a 60 mile round trip and no charge at work. As it stands, I don't have the level 2 installed yet, but I do have access to a 110 outlet at work. I...

    Where to charge? Often wondered

I'm in agreement with most of what y'all said here, but for the reviews of a dealership I just saw tonight. They talk about the 2 chargers being so accessible and completely open, not needing a card or anything to make them work. Too, at least one reviewer mentioned that there wasn't much by way...

    Where to charge? Often wondered

So we all drive a Ford. But there are a lot more Nissan Leafs on the road. And when it comes to plugging in, I seem to find a fair number of Nissan dealerships in the PlugShare app. So the question is, do any of you charge at a Nissan dealership? If so is it sort of weird to do? Finally, is it...

Is MFM down again?? 3:30 PM PST Tuesday??

And of course scheduled maintenance couldn't possibly be done at, say, 2am. :x
