    Lease End Options

Yeah, my offer was 16.7 k. I was only maybe 10 months into my lease, but had to make room for the model 3 = ).

    Lease End Options

You're refund for the sales tax won't be from DMV. You have to go through the CA board of equalization and you basically have 10 days after receiving the title to sell the car. You can't just send a check to Cab West for the payoff either when you get the payoff amount. They make you go...

Lease swap available in San Diego/SoCal

Just sell it through shift or kbb. You have such few miles that you probably have some equity. Check how much it costs to buy out from ford credit vs what the other places are willing to buy it for.

Actual residual value of your FFE...

With taxes, I am at 130 a month in a city that charges 8.25%. Count that 2500 CA rebate in and that would essentially be 60 a month. For the trade in offer, I just did the KBB instant offer. The offer was 13000 instant, but one of the 3 offers connected with KBB offered me 13,700 over the...

Actual residual value of your FFE...

The end of lease buyout for the new 2017 FFE is 8,300. What my 2015 FFE was worth after about 34 months of ownership was 13,700 for trade in. What I am saying is that there is a huge discrepancy between estimated residual value after 3 years by the banks when they are making residual value...

Actual residual value of your FFE...

My down payment was the equity of my trade in. I financed during the 0% interest loan offer and still owed about 10900. There was 2800 in equity that was used as the down payment. Of course that will lower the monthly payments as well. Down payment will not lower the residual. That is set...

Actual residual value of your FFE...

I just got my third focus electric today. It was a 2017 and a lease as well. They set the residual at 8300 ish for 10.5k miles. That ridiculously low residual is not what I am actually seeing in the real world. I traded in my 2015 FFE with 24 k miles for 13,700. I also consigned sale of my...

Shopping: Ford Focus Electric vs Chevy Spark EV

I live near Carlsbad and currently have 2 FFE's. I also convinced one co-worker to get a Spark EV. I also have a Spark EV that I cosigned with a friend for him to take advance of a gm card topoff offer. I have driven both and like both for different reasons. When getting them new, the FFE is...

New Pricing and incentives for 2014 and 2015 FFE's

Just bought a white with cloth seat ffe today. Was originally going to wait until the end of the year, but jumped in today after hearing about the drop. MSRP was 30k, used Costco purchase which was 800 below invoice for this month. 28 k purchase price, add in taxes, doc, etc. with 4 k rebate...

New Pricing and incentives for 2014 and 2015 FFE's

You're off by a thousand, plus your original MSRP does not include destination charges. I see off Edmunds it lists the FFE for MSRP 29995, but I am assuming that is the 2015. It would be sweet if we could get that MSRP plus the 4k incentive though. I am seeing the original 6k incentive for...

Would you take a free Energi? I would

What was the original msrp and what was the final purchase price? I'm going to ask a dealer near me with a 2013 se energi to quote.

Did you negotiate your price under MSRP ?

I didn't buy at the time, but a couple weeks back I was offered 1100 under invoice through the Costco program. Didn't like what they offered me in one lease trade-in, so I was going to wait until the lease was up at the end of the year to try again. This was in North County San Diego. I...

Looking for used or new FFE details in post

If I was living in Colorado, I'd be buying a used EV almost every year mainly due to the 6 k tax rebate. See if you can buy any used EV's that are compliance cars in CA. They will not sell you compliance cars if they are new since the car manufacturers need those CARB credits, but used ones...

Leasing in GA (continuation from other thread)

The dealer is only offering $1k off of MSRP? You should try to get around invoice if possible. Even going through truecar.com you can get about $200 above invoice around Decatur. Try going that route and tell the dealer you want the same sale price, but for a lease instead of a full on sale.

New/used for roughly 100 mile (soon 2b 70) daily round trip?

You are basing things off of msrp for those lease numbers. You can always negotiate like a regular car purchase. All new car purchases should be leasable. Also my numbers are just rough and based off the truecar.com price. I also forgot to add the money factor/interest rate. I believe it is...

New/used for roughly 100 mile (soon 2b 70) daily round trip?

I meant 18,000 miles per year would have a residual of roughly $14,000 after 3 years. If you are able to get a negotiated price of $32,000 before any incentives and do a lease, then you should be at under $23,000 after the $11,000 (another $500 for lease conquest) lease incentive, title, docs...

New/used for roughly 100 mile (soon 2b 70) daily round trip?

The residual for 18 k/year for an ffe should be around 14 k then. That would be 4 k /36 months + tax. That would be around $111 / month before taxes. That is after the 5 k tax rebate though so that would not be realized until tax time. I'm trying to convince my bro-in law to do this since he...

New/used for roughly 100 mile (soon 2b 70) daily round trip?

Don't forget you can get peach pass access as well. If you aren't in the higher tax bracket it would be more prudent to just go with a lease so that you could get 11k off of the purchase price and maximizing the federal tax rebate. You always have the option to buy the car at the end of 3 year...
