Regarding turn light's rapid blink, one needs a 6 ohm (50W) resistor in PARALLEL with the LED. The resistor will draw 2 amps which in my thinking negates the advantage of replacing bulbs to LEDs. For now... if/when the bulb burns out I might as well replace it. btw have replaced all other rear...

Duke power in NC has a flat rate of .105 in the summer to .095 in winter- I am considering a Time of Use Rate of .24 peak (1-6 p.m. M-F) & .068 the rest of time. One nice aspect is that there is no charge to swap between plans even though the meter is changed each time. Or so I have been told...

I checked inventory for a FFE from Greensboro- Raleigh, NC... Nada! The Gboro dealer's Technology manager drives a FFE so he was good enough to let me take it for a spin. I was blown away but you probably know that. Have an order for one now. Out the door- sales tax & $7500 fed tax credit...

$6k rebate is available in NC- in fact I have an order for one! :D
