How easy to get out of a lease?

Depending on how attractive your lease is, I might be interested in assuming it. Can you provide the details of your lease and your car?

Where is the 2017 Focus Electric???

On Cars.com there is one in Silver Springs, MD that includes actual photos instead of the stock 2016 photo.

End of Lease Offer - $7200 Less than Residual

It was picked up at the dealer last Friday and sold at auction on Monday. As a result, I'm guessing it did auctioned nearby. Now just waiting to see if it shows up in someone's inventory, and at what price...

End of Lease Offer - $7200 Less than Residual

Ended up letting it go. Couldn't justify the purchase when there are newer model year CPO cars out there for less. Will be keeping an eye out to see where it pops up though.

End of Lease Offer - $7200 Less than Residual

Warranty is the only concern I have about buying it back. After three years in the car, I know that the bigger battery isn't critical. Final plan is for two AWD Teslas, so buying this car provides some level of flexibility in exiting it that leasing a 2017 wouldn't include (short of paying off...

    Price for NEW 2015 FFE?

Today you might be able to get them down to $20k. Assuming that the $5500 in incentives that apply to the 2016s also apply to remaining '15s, that should be doable. After the 2017s hit the market, who knows how low they might go.

    Price for NEW 2015 FFE?

I'm assuming you are talking about the Performance Blue one at Sunrise? If so, based on the two used ones currently available in the US I'm guessing that you won't get them to go below about $22,500. As that would put your cost on par with the used ones after rebates.

End of Lease Offer - $7200 Less than Residual

We turned our '13 FFE lease in yesterday with 22500 miles on the clock. Dealer called today and offered to sell us the car and re-register it for $9200. Equates to about $1000 less than a 3 year/31,500 mile lease on a 2017 from the same dealer when they finally become available. What would...

    Price for NEW 2015 FFE?

I wouldn't offer anything until the 2017s start hitting dealerships.

    New Recall - 3G modem?

You aren't the only one. When I called my dealer the service dept said, unless you are currently having issues we will not schedule this because it it not a safety recall, just a Customer Satisfaction Program issue. Guess what asshat? I'm no longer satisfied with your sorry dealership.

    Customer Discount for Lease Buyout?

You'd think they'd do it just to save the trouble of dealing with bringing the car back in and sending it out to auction. They have to know what they've been getting at auction as there are almost 200 of them out there for sale. Could be a win for everybody - clearly Nissan figured that out...

    Customer Discount for Lease Buyout?

Looks like used Focus Electrics are starting at $8500 on cars.com, which means that Ford Credit is taking a beating on these cars when they go to auction...

    Charge station fail

This is exactly the reason that I always recommend CC when folks ask what EVSE they should purchase. The folks at CC are awesome.

    New FFE buyer with questions

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get it for? We've got 18 months left on our 2013 lease and curious as to how much less than our residual you may have gotten the car for.

iPhone images: Southern California charging stations.

Even if true, they clearly have no ability to enforce that.

iPhone images: Southern California charging stations.

Some dealers will only charge cars that are in for service, they don't make them available for anyone else. My SO had an experience where the EVSEs that she normally utilized were occupied, and she couldn't make it home without charging. There was a Ford Dealership a few miles away, so she...
