Replace tail lamp bulbs... but impossible to access?!

The rear tail lights are super easy to remove. If you guys check out the thread right under this one for the interior LED upgrade there is a video there showing how to remove them. It's kinda long but you will get the idea. Also they have posted most of the LED bulbs needed to do the entire car...

    Interior LED light upgrade

I wanted to thank those that took the time to put the part numbers for the LED lights. I spent about $240 ordering all of them from superbright. They are fantastic! The can bus stop lights work perfect. They are nice and bright. Such a difference from the OEM lights. I got resistors to use for...

I installed a HomeLink visor in my 2013 FFE in 10 minutes!

Yes I will. I'll do it this weekend. Another member suggested I put something up and I just got busy but I will get it done. :)

I installed a HomeLink visor in my 2013 FFE in 10 minutes!

I went another direction and got a gentex auto dimming mirror with homelink. Installed it looks factory and I solved 3 issues. Keeping my telescoping visor and adding homelink and auto dimming mirror. :) and it was only $165.

    Front License Plate Bracket

Or maybe Ford could come up with a better way to attach them so that they don't have to use a drill and destroy the bumper!

    EMW Juice Box

Yeah it would be cool if we could just dial in the amperage upto the limit of the charger right on the MFT like you can do on a Model S. But I'm sure it's all about "CYA" with Ford. They don't want some dumbass to burn their house down trying to pull to much from a wall outlet.

NAIAS - The Detroit Auto Show

Sounds and looks like the same setup that we had at the LA auto show. I'm glad Ford had an FFE on display but they were not trying hard at all to sell it. No one was around to answer questions. I wound up standing there talking to people and telling them about it for a few minutes. :)

    150 mile range

Yes I had 12 miles left when I got home. The rise from Anaheim to Santa Clarita is just over 1000ft but most of that happens from the San Fernando valley north. On the way down when we got there I still had 46 miles left! Crazy. Lol

    150 mile range

Ok. So the trip was a total success! Going down we went 55 miles used 9.9kw at 178wh. That was cruise set at 63mph a little stop and go but mostly traveling at speed. No a/c as it was 73. When we got to the Anaheim convention center both ChargePoint chargers were available as well as free! So...

    Good / Bad Lease Deal

I know right! If they are true he stole it!! That's almost like Ford paying him to drive it depending on what his gas cost was!! :)

    150 mile range

Thanks for the tips guys! Yeah it will be interesting to see how it goes. I can almost guarantee I'll get down just fine, I'm more interested to see the going home range because once I get into the valley it's a small almost constant uphill getting home. I will for sure report after our little...

    150 mile range

Thank you! Yeah I'm really not too worried about it. I told the wife to bring a book just in case we had to stop and charge on the way back. Lol. I usually go about 60 or so. I hang out in the right lanes with the trucks. :)

    150 mile range

Pjam3, so I'm taking the longest drive yet in my FFE. I'm dragging my wife with me down to the Anaheim convention center which is 63 miles from my house one way. They have 2 level 2 chargers there so should be fine with that. If those are both taken then I have backups of some other chargers...

    Good / Bad Lease Deal

My lease is for 36 months w/leather. 19 miles on delivery. My payment is just a bit higher than yours but I had 3k rolled in negative equity from prior lease. I put nothing down and I added wearcare. So yeah that price is a little high. My buyout at lease end is about 15.5k.

    Ford Wear Care

$1700! I'll have to check my lease papers when I get home but I'm almost sure I paid about $400 at most for it. And it covers upto $4000 of wear. I'll post again once I look for sure. That price sounds more in line with an extended warranty than wearcare.

    Gas reimbursement on loaners?

This is one of the few gripes I have with ford. They actually say that they are not required to give loaners at all for warranty work. Unless you pay for an extended warranty. I've been lucky to get a loaner from my dealer but they have it in big print in the service dept that ford does not pay...

    Battery thermal management system

My guess would be that just the same as go-times if it's plugged into level 1 and it needs to heat the battery it prolly pulls some from the battery as well as the level 1 until it gets heated up then would continue to charge battery until it's back to full.

When is the 12 volt battery being charged?

Another easy and free way to keep the 12v battery topped off is to get one of those 12v solar panels and put it on the dash and plug into the 12v outlet. Those are always hot so it would trickle charge the battery while the car sits. Of course that's if it's outside. :)

How can I get more power at launch?

I have no idea about weather we could do any kind of reprogram but I can tell you that if you let it roll a bit then get into it it will go!

    150 mile range

Yeah I gotta think something must be wrong. If the OP is getting no regen and is using that high WH/mile I think it might need a trip back to the dealer. The OP also stated he does not notice a difference when he shifts to L there has to be a problem. If I go from D to L coasting or take my foot...
