    compressor sound?

    I also hear the sound most times right after I open the door or a couple seconds. Sometimes, it is accompanied by a clicking sound. On occasion, right after I plug it in, also. I have never heard a sound exactly like it before, but I'm guessing some sort of pump.

    Absolutely...as a second car, it's perfect for what we need. Aside from the obvious advantages, the car feels exceptionally well built, is extremely quiet, and has an excellent high-tech interface. Only downsides I've noted are the somewhat limited trunk space, and the smallish backseat. But...
