That is a good point about all the other things that they will likely do during the inspection. Probably worth it. My experience with the dealer is that I never get out of there without spending a bunch. If I go I will report back on the cost and what I got for it.

I don't think it is really needed unless there are specific 2017 only related issues such as battery, fast charging, or recalls. Maybe that is needed.

You should go ahead and install the 50 amp circuit breaker and wiring. It's not that much more expensive. As for level 2 charging, the speed of charging is much better. Well worth it. I got a plug in version of the EVSE. No problem so far...

I think that is common language in all safety recalls. They warn you that doom is right around the corner. I think it is partly because so many people ignore the recalls. I'm willing to do it...I just want to be assured that when I bring it in they will get it fixed promptly...
