Ford appears content to do the bare minimum to satisfy CARB/CAFE, while maximizing sales of more profitable ICE cars. That type of behavior isn't surprising from an incumbent.

It's sad that Ford is doing the bare minimum. When my FFE lease is up in 2017, I'm looking to buy a BEV. Right now, Ford doesn't have any compelling options.

This happens to me all the time and I'm a pretty conservative driver. It's a combination of the tires and having a lot of torque available at once.

The processor change is part of the reason. The other change is moving from resistive to capacitive screens. I'm mostly unimpressed by the Sync 3 demos that I watched. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are more interesting solutions.

Hopefully I'll be able to get a Tesla Model 3 when my Focus lease is up, partially so I don't have to go through dealership nonsense. It's such an outdated model and I hope it dies soon.

I'm mostly satisfied with the UI. It's decent, but not great. When my lease is up in 2017, I'm looking forward to a better experience through iOS CarPlay or Android Auto.

Ford sells the most in California, simply because of compliance laws. It should add DCFC in the future in order to stay competitive. As for the Leaf, all current models can be outfitted with CHAdeMO fast chargers.

I use it because I like the term and it reminds me of Moses Malone.

So far, yes. :) Keep in mind that I've only been driving it for eight days, but Wh/mi and brake score are there for every trip that has been logged.
