EVA bets right :-). Most of my friends don't have garages and if they do, they're just "a place for their stuff" without a lot of room for me to maneuver. Every situation is different I know, that's just how mine worked out.

SSN update completed this morning at my local Ford dealer. Took 1-1/2 hours but only because the original dealer in Virginia didn't correctly process an update from earlier in the year, before I took delivery. Upset the whole software update protocol....but the dealer got thru it...

congrats nuuk1 - I've been driving mine (2013) for less than a month now and I still feel the same driving and philosophical thrill as during my first test drive. ICE's do seem quaint...and just really nonsensical if ya think about it, for most daily commuting purposes. Good luck and happy...

Have my appointment scheduled for this Thursday first a.m. at my local dealer. They had to do some investigation with Ford to determine what the recall was about. But they've indicated they're all set and the update should take thirty minutes. Will report back to this topic, after.

First and hopefully never again, SSN yesterday. 561 miles. Wife driving 45 mph, in heavy traffic on 4 lane road, with 13 year-old daughter. All drive power immediately and abruptly dropped. I don't even want to think about the scene if she hadn't been in the right lane, and an open driveway...

Howdy all, newbie here. Took delivery of 2013 FFE on a lease deal about two weeks ago. Still learning how to work the weird (relatively speaking) climate controls and touch screen inputs, but for now am extremely happy to be off the ICE. Glad to have found this forum and look forward to adding...
