Well it almost a month since my last post, and the fix has held so far! I have put nearly 2k more miles on my 2013, and a helluva lot of power on/off cycles, and various combos of home charging and public charge stations, and so far so good. It would have been nice to have gotten the bigger...

It has been almost two weeks now and the car is still behaving, and I have but a lot of new miles on it since getting it back, along with multiple power on/off cycles and charge cycles on my home and public chargers, as well as having it unplugged all night at the hotel I stayed in last night...

My saga is at its end at long last! I talked to the service assistant today, and the work is finally done. The engineer from Ford was here for 2-3 days, after a good 2 weeks before of solid prep work, and he did some custom programming at the dealer, and the car passed all the tests finally...

The first service visit for this problem would have been in March this year (it feels likes its been an eternity). UPDATE: Just renewed my loaner for the THIRD time now (3rd 28-day loaner period), I find out that Ford is making the dealer jump through all sorts of hoops, despite the fact the tech knows its the TCM, so they made them swap out a wire harness, that failed, then Ford made them swap out the PCM...
