It happened yesterday, the FFE turned 100k!. The achievement is downplayed by the fact I had to have the battery replaced a few years ago, but hey, I kept the car and happy I did.
I have been completely satisfied with the car and with the care Ford invested in the vehicle. I plan on keeping...
Inching up towards 100,000.
...but it is running not a replacement battery so not sure it counts. Replacement is amazing, 120+ miles range. Has really demotivated me from getting a low end Tesla.
Yep, happened to me too. Have the new much greater range battery that was installed under warranty.
Still getting used to starting it up and seeing 125 miles range instead of the old 75.
Needless to say, I really love the car now. Will be keeping it for a while.
...but with Ford...
Yea, the price to upgrade is stupendous.
My 'upgrade' cost over $30,000.
(warranty battery and motor replace)
But, the new range is AWESOME! Ford really stood behind their product. Feeling some brand loyalty.
...and hopefully can get another 5 years out of the car.
So, the car has been back for over 100 miles now, and has been running flawlessly. Turns out, the battery (or part of it) blew out and melted down. I am surprised the whole car didn't go up. Good engineering as far as containment goes.
Ford really did do some blind stabbing at the car before...
