I was fighting this issue before my battery had to be replaced. After the 4G modem upgrade, the departure times and value charge doesn’t work. I am not sure what the issue is, but I will list some symptoms.
1. Departure time(mygo time) will sync from FordPass to the vehicle, but the car won’t...
So finally got the car back today after about 3 weeks. They replaced the HV Battery with a remanufactured battery, replaced a filter assembly, and added some anti-freeze. I don’t expect to get more range, but we will see!
For my 2018 FFE, dealer just told me the contactor code troubleshooting has led to the battery as you guys predicted. Awaiting Ford to figure out the way ahead.
I drove the car pretty hard today and when I got home to charge, I received a charging fault. When I went to turn the car on, I received the stop safely now. I check the codes and it shows Battery Contactor A stuck closed, P0AA1 and P0A95 High voltage fuse A. Anybody seen this before?
I am looking to install some aftermarket speakers and subwoofer. Does anyone have the ACM breakout for the 2018 FFE? I am trying to figure out if I need to make any adjustments before installing. I was looking. At the PAC Amp Pro, but they don’t make one for the 2018 FFE.
Mine is a 2018 so I didn’t have to pay to use the FordPass app. I had used the app previously with my Escape PHEV and my 2018 Fusion sport. I don’t think Ford has started any way to pay for the app yet.
I got the upgrade done today at the dealer. As noted had to shift to the FordPass app. It’s not as user friendly as the myford mobile, but it works. Had to pay for the modem kit, but labor was free.
