Haha yeah it's got 29k miles on it. I don't really need the car at this point, working from home. I drive it once a week to play golf, and have a couple other vehicles if I do sell it early. I'd like to trade it in since I think I avoid some sales tax that way.
I'm really looking forward...
I'm pretty sure it's not a "cigarette lighter" despite it having similar characteristics. The modern function is simply a power port for accessories, and they probably leave it on for 15 minutes in case you drive somewhere and want to continue using an accessory for a while after parking. If...
Do you live in a salty environment? If so, greasing the slide pins is probably a good idea. If not, I wouldn't worry about it. I always drive in L, so the brakes hardly ever get used.
IMO, it's foolish to not look in your mirror before changing lanes. What if someone is doing 30 or 40 MPH faster than you and you blindly change lanes?
First you say it didn't even bend the frame. Then you say you needed to be cut out.
Do you think you would have been fine in the Focus? I've totaled three cars. In none of the instances would I have been better off in something as small as the Focus.
Your accident wasn't catastrophic, either.
I'm simply waiting for the F150 to come out. I also have a problem called brand loyalty. Add that to the previously mentioned loan on the car, and I'm about a year and a half out.
For now I will gamble with my safety.
I did try to fit into...
It simply takes one person not paying attention or driving crazy to kill me in the little Focus. I'm 6'2" and I take up most of the space in the cabin as it is.
Just because someone was in a fender bender with a semi doesn't mean semis don't smash people to death on a daily basis. I drove my...
I actually work only a few hundred yards from the factory in Fremont. Has anything changed, other than MUCH, MUCH more demand for spare parts as the sales volumes increase? https://www.sfgate.com/cars/article/tesla-repair-wait-time-complaints-electric-car-13796037.php
Since any EV I own will...
My aversion to buying a Tesla is mostly the service network and spare parts availability scare the hell out of me. No thanks. I'll go with the established supply chain. Plus, let's be real. I'm a Ford guy and brand loyal.
If for one can't wait to move on. Not because the Focus isn't good, it's just fine for basic transportation. I just want something bigger and faster. I like the Mach E, but probably would rather have an electric F150. I still owe $14k on my Focus, so probably a year and a half out from...
I like it. The pics of the one with a faux grill look even better. Most folks aren't ready for no grill I've found. Now, the rank and file Mustang fan is losing his freaking mind over this thing being called a Mustang.
Frankly, if they slap a Mustang emblem on it, then it's a Mustang...
My 2018 with 16k miles works very well. It was parked on asphalt in 100 degree temps today. When I left the office, it took less than 10 seconds to start blowing colder, and no more than 1 minute to have very cold air. It maintained that as I drove 30 miles, including some long stop lights-...
