I think a good indication of battery capacity is charging time. If you nearly completely discharge the battery and it takes less than three hours to charge the car. This would be an indication of significant battery capacity reduction. This test should be done on a 30 amp level 2 charging station. Cold or hot conditions can affect charging times, and does affect battery capacity.
