
1. On the battery temperature, you're correct, it's too cold here right now to have the battery at that temp with a single charge. I would have to charge, discharge, and then on the second charge it would be at that temp; but that's kind of an all day affair. I'm definitely looking into the temperature response, because I need to incorporate that for Chademo charge rate controls.
2. Cell balancing is still permitted to take place. I terminated last night after about 85% SOC. After that, it was business as usual. Since the actual pack stops at 90% actual SOC, I'm not very concerned that it would make a single cell go crazy, but the BECM will fault and shut down if a cell would fault. I'll integrate this into the charging controls as well.
