I read a few bad reviews on these specific units faulting on an FFE. Based on that I avoided them and ended up buying a Clipper Creek unit for not much more with a longer cable and slightly higher amperage.

I like the idea of a plug in too, besides moving if I have a problem I can just unplug it to return it for repairs. I would like one that is rated for outdoor use though for maximum flexibility.
 
The Blink HQ is going for $499 this week. I've never had a problem with mine.
