Here is the list of the top 5 manufactures plug in vehicles.
1) Nissan
2) Ford
3) GM
4) Tesla
5) BMW

Nissan at the top was no surprise. But Ford taking up the number two spot was. They did it by selling a lot Fusion and C-max Energi extended range electrics. The other surprise the new comer BWM i3 sales were rather strong.

Ford being there isn't that much of a surprise if you've been paying attention over the past year. They have repeatedly been the #2 or #3 plugin manufacturer each month when you add up all the plugin sales (C-Max, Fusion, FFE).

Hopefully this entices more PHEV manufacturers to equip their products with 6.6kW chargers. Many of us have to pay by the hour to charge at work and for me at $3/gal it's cheaper to use gas on the way home from work when I take the Volt. On the plus side, there should be much less competition for charging spots at work when I commute with my FFE since 80% of the plugins at work are Volts.
