Southeastern Michigan Drive Electric week

In a move that almost guarantees nobody shows up: The Southeastern Michigan event in Ann Arbor was moved last night from Saturday to Friday due to someone getting a clue that the local college football team is quite popular and plays on Saturdays as well (Traffic is always a nightmare anywhere near Ann Arbor on a U of M game day).

This actually works out for me as I'll just take a day off of work and be there the whole day (Saturday didn't work because my son's baseball team has a double-header--can't take a vacation from that!).

That's too bad. Didn't they have a good event with decent attendance last year?

It was buried behind a parking structure at a local community college--not very visible. This year at least its right off the freeway in a popular mall's parking lot. Should get a lot more traffic of people who just happen to be at the mall.

I didn't have much time for anything other than a quick stop to check it out. This year, though, now that it is today I'll be part of it. I'm hoping to setup a table next to my FFE and display the various EVSE's I have (well at least the Ford one, the Clipper Creek one, and the Juicebox)--if I can fit the table in the FFE.

I may also "live blog" it as well (which means a few posts throughout the day as one or two people show up! LOL).

So far: 2 FFEs, 2 Volts, 1 C-Max Energi, 1 Model S, and a converted Escort. Yup no Leafs.
