a,z,x plan

are these available on the focus electric? Seems I read somewhere they are NOT. thanks

X-Plan isn't. I don't know about the others.

The cryptic codes confused me for a moment - a, z, and x are discount plans Ford has. The only one I'm familiar with was X - that discount was available to employees of certain companies.

I'll agree with you Hybridbear - the x discount plan is not applicable to the FFE.

Ford does not offer any Plan purchases on the Focus Electric. I payed the same as you guys did even though I'm the new car manager at a Ford store. Ford ususally does this on extreme high demand or low production models. The Ford Raptor, Mustang GT500, Boss 302 also have fallen under these guidelines.

a = Current Ford Employee - best discount (under invoice)
z = Retired Ford Employee - best discount (under invoice)
x = Supplier Employee or Friend of Ford employee - good discount (right around invoice, but no need for negotiation)
d = Ford Dealer Employee - better discount ($100 over a/z plan)
